Induction

Make no mistake, securing a deposit to proceed does not guarantee a franchise launcher. Amongst other things, and in no particular order, you must;

 

  • Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

  • Secure finance

  • Find and help negotiate rents for premises or funding for vehicles

  • Sign a Franchise Agreement

  • Conduct shop fits (where required)

  • Provide training

  • Manage the relationship after the excitement of the prospect saying 'yes' through the period of anxiety and buyer remorse that the Franchisee will experience before actually concluding the deal. Sometimes a 'save' is required to progress an apparently concluded sale

  • Launch the new Franchisee with an effective marketing push 

It is a reality that at any point, prior to signing a Franchise Agreement, prospects can pull out even where they have paid deposits and signed a MoU.

 

Delays together with any set backs along the way, need to be managed or you will lose hard won prospects.
