Make no mistake, securing a deposit to proceed does not guarantee a franchise launcher. Amongst other things, and in no particular order, you must;

Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

Secure finance

Find and help negotiate rents for premises or funding for vehicles

Sign a Franchise Agreement

Conduct shop fits (where required)

Provide training

Manage the relationship after the excitement of the prospect saying 'yes' through the period of anxiety and buyer remorse that the Franchisee will experience before actually concluding the deal. Sometimes a 'save' is required to progress an apparently concluded sale

Launch the new Franchisee with an effective marketing push
It is a reality that at any point, prior to signing a Franchise Agreement, prospects can pull out even where they have paid deposits and signed a MoU.
Delays together with any set backs along the way, need to be managed or you will lose hard won prospects.
